Child Safety Standards Policy

Last updated: October 2025

1. Introduction

Yollo, developed by MERLINESS UG, is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and responsible environment for all users. We are fully committed to upholding global child safety standards and implementing proactive measures to prevent and address any violations.

This policy outlines Yollo’s strict standards and procedures for preventing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in compliance with global child protection regulations.

2. Age Restrictions

Yollo is intended only for individuals 18 years or older. Anyone under 18 is considered a minor and is not permitted to register for or use our services.

We do not knowingly collect or retain personal information from minors. If Yollo discovers that a minor has provided personal data, it will be deleted immediately, and preventive measures will be applied to avoid future occurrences.

3. Forbidden Activities and Content

Yollo strictly prohibits any form of behavior or content that exploits, harms, or endangers minors in any way. Examples include but are not limited to:

- Creating, sharing, or possessing material depicting or suggesting sexual acts or violence involving minors.

- Any attempt to groom, solicit, or engage a minor in explicit communication or contact.

- Creation or distribution of content that sexualizes or exploits minors, including simulated depictions.

- Coercion, threats, or blackmail involving minors (including sextortion).

- Advertising or facilitating commercial sexual exploitation of minors.

- Engaging in any deceptive or manipulative activity intended to harm or exploit users.

Yollo maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward these violations. All users must refrain from creating, sharing, or engaging with such content. All reports of child exploitation or endangerment are escalated for immediate review, and offenders will face both internal enforcement measures and potential legal consequences.

4. Enforcement Mechanisms

To uphold child safety, Yollo implements the following measures:

- Monitoring & Moderation – Automated detection tools and trained human moderators review content and interactions continuously.

- Immediate Action – Accounts involved in prohibited activity are suspended or permanently removed without delay.

- Legal Cooperation – Yollo reports confirmed instances of CSAE, CSAM, or any exploitation of minors to relevant authorities if necessary.

- Policy Updates – Safety policies and moderation procedures are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect legal requirements and best practices.

5. Reporting Mechanisms

Yollo provides multiple channels for users to report concerns about child safety:

- In-App Reports and Complaints
Tap the exclamation icon on a user’s profile or in the chat window, then select ‘Complain’ to report any harmful behavior.

- Email Support
Send detailed reports to [email protected].

All reports submitted to Yollo are treated with the highest level of confidentiality to protect both the reporting user and any individuals involved. Upon receiving a report, the safety team promptly reviews (typically within 24 hours) all available information, including chat logs, images, or other evidence, to assess the situation. Users are strongly encouraged to provide as much relevant detail as possible, such as descriptions of the incident, screenshots, or any other supporting materials, to help the team conduct a thorough and efficient investigation.

All reports are acted upon swiftly, and appropriate measures, including content removal, account suspension, or reporting to law enforcement, are taken as required to protect minors and maintain a safe environment on the platform.
